Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. Aspen Ladd started training in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd gained confidence after her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her via unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen go into the Bantamweight division after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to defeat McGill. Aspen ended her bout via TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with her ground and pound tactics and earned the TKO second-round victory. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the opening round. The winner also got the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's had in a major capacity. Ladd, who won by a unanimous decision following a great back-and forth fight among the pair of fighters, got an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. In a last-minute substitute for her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
