Ehsan Shahidi as well as Sayeed Shahidi are her younger brothers. Sayeed is also an actor, and model. She has a cousin named Nas who is an acclaimed hip-hop artist. Shahidi has revealed in the month of June 2017 that she would soon be going to Harvard University. For now, it seems like she is concentrating on her studies, and is taking care of her children.
